RTC and TSN Information

guys..im having problem with RTC...just now my friend gave me his 1ft RTC to be kept together with my RTC(also 1 ft size)..the problem is my RTC keep chasing this new comer,bite his tail and fin...my RTC never been aggrasive like this before..is this some kind of territorial fight?has anyone keep more than 1 RTCs in the same tank?is this problem will prolong?do i need to separate them?...well any advices are welcome...please help. thanx.

How big do you think an RTC wud have to be till he tried to eat a 5" crayfish? Especially if they were tank mates growing up.

Just wondering at one point ill have to separate them. lol

Im a noobie to keeping red tail catfish and ran into a problem....i need help....any catfish pro would be appreciated...

i have 2 rtc pretty big (1-roughly about 1ft mark and its only been 3months and 1-roughly 9-10inch mark also 3month)

my problem:
my little red tail guy isnt growing and is getting abuse by the big guy...what i want to know is if i split them up how soon can i expect him to recover and grow so i can keep them together...

RTCs don't get along together. So if you split them up then it will recover and make sure there's no more abuse. Also, make sure little one is bigger than the bigger one.

hi, im thinking of getting either an rtc or a tsn and growing it out in my 4x2x2. i was wondering if anyone could give theyre opinion as to how long i would get in this tank?. thanks in advance for any advice

I lost my red tailed cat and my tiger shovelnose cat to velvet disease. Just picked up a tiger shovelnose red tail hybrid. Anybody have any advice?

I had that happen after I put my TSN in a bigger tank, sometimes they "fast" when changing environments. Mine did it for around a month.

I had 3 in the same tank at the same time before and my rtcxtsn would only fight with 1 rtc sometimes over a cave. other than that they were pretty much chill.

i was going to say i have 3 rtc in together and thay seam to be like a family lol the two bigger ones are staying around the smaller one as to protect it for my marble (he is the biggest fish in the tank right know)
