Right now, 82 degrees. I'm hoping I'm not going to have to buy a chiller, they are really expensive. Some of the water is ending up in my skimmer too, so I'm going to try lowering the bubble level a bit to see if that helps. I also might try putting a lid on my refugium and the part of the sump that the skimmer isn't sticking out of.
On a more positive note I think my RO/DI unit is working correctly. I checked the PSI in the tank and it didn't even register, so I used a bike pump to get it up to 5 psi and now it seems to be working. I measured my RO water with a TDS meter last night and I got a reading of 4 ppm.
I've found some more creatures on my liverock, hoping someone can identify them. Unfortunately my camera isn't that great...so in lieu of getting a better one I tried to sketch a couple. I know a drawing isn't anything like looking at the real thing, but can anybody guess at what these are??
Also, what GPH would be ideal for the Koralia pump I am planning on getting? (keep in mind I'm eventually probably going to end up with two so I can simulate a wave effect)
EDIT: I forgot to mention that #1 is mobile and moves around all over that rock
for the temp it is too high, that could be contributing to so much evaporation you could get an auto top-off setup for the sump to keep it level with water. Also they live rock hitch hiker's can't really tell what they are my be some kind of hydroid's.
I think your RO/DI was under the sink, but if it's close enough to the tank you can get an automatic topoff system so you never have to worry about evaporation.
