Savannah Monitor Diet

Just be careful with the insects though. I don't know about the nutritional content of roaches, but when my son got his sav as a baby, it was too small to even eat pinkies, so the pet store said to feed him crickets. Didn't mention to dust the crickets in vitamin/calcium powder first. The poor thing ended up with hip joint/back leg deformities from not enough calcium in its diet. It had difficulty going to the bathroom and actually had to be given enemas. The poor thing finally died. At least the mice/fish/birds have skeletons to provide calcium.

Roachs are better then crickets but still need dusted

Every insect fed to a young growing reptile needs both to be gut loaded and dusted with a good quality suplement, otherwise that can happen.
