Ya I agree with the above, a flaker says he is going to pay, or that he forgot. A scammer tells you they did pay.

Exactly. His scam was acting like the all-too-common-fish-transaction flake. And my fault was assuming that he was a flake and not a scammer.

I guess I fell for it.

I'd love to hear his side of the story. Unfortunately, he turned off his phone and quit ansering emails and PMs.

Either way not much difference, one cheats you out of time and effort. The other cheats ya out of the premention plus trys to get money or your goods from ya.

I believe nuttall26 is a scammer. I just searched through all his posts. He always goes around all the threads asking sellers to have fishes shipped to him and agrees to pay for shipping cost no matter how far or how expensive. Check out the link :

Seems like altogether too much work / risk to freaking steal a fish.

Believe me - I've spoken with the police in Indianola, MS. And they're keeping an eye on the delivery address...and the nearby apartments that are probably his real address...

Consider it a lesson learned to never ship any fish without payment first. I had someone try to do the same thing to me. I had the fish bagged and headed to the post office to send it. Checked my paypal and still no payment. The buyer said send it, he promised the payment would be sent. I drove home and put the fish back into my tank. NO payment = NO fish!
