Setting up a used 450 gallon tank

On the trickle system...there's 1GPH going into the system, and the extra 1GPH goes out the sump overflow, into the drain, and to your wife's roses. I got that. Where is the 1GPH trickling into? I assume it trickles into the sump? and the overflow is being drained out of the sump?

Na, it trickles into the tank as far away from the drain in the sump as possible. That way I'm sure I'm not draining clean water.

Yes. I hate those corner boxes. I would like to build a root like structure for each one to hide the overflows. Make it look like a flooded amazon rain forest. Pictures of the roots I want to copy.

Plants would be nice too!

Your fish are so big they even make a monster tank look normal. Lol. Loving the tank and those fish are massive.

Thank you. The GG is a she and she loves strawberrys and Brussels sprouts. Of course crickets are never passed up. Had her about 4 years now and she hates silver fish. Unfortunately the black doesn't take to being pushed around. So the GG gets put in her place once in a while.

I'll bet that's something to see!

I love this big tank Egon. Your trop would be a huge, crown jewel fish in any other tank but the stock in that tank makes him look like a growout FLG. Damn impressive bro.

Are you ever going to entertain the idea of moving the goonch over to this tank?
