My next tank is 44" deep. I'm not sure how I'm going to set up the background. I may be able to double stack these 22" panels but the seam would be right in the middle of the viewing area. Most likely it will be 100% DIY.
At 44" tall, time to get a throw rug...! Yeah I agree it would look really funny having the seams in the middle. BTW I like the drainpipe, that was a smart move. I would throw a cupholder down there too. You got plenty of room and could enjoy a frosty brew doing your WC's.

Did you get this from a guy in Gilbert?

I got mine from a guy in Gilbert too. When I bought mine he said he had another one in his garage, but it didn't have a bottom on it. Said he was gonna fix it and then sell it. From what I saw of it, it looks a lot like yours.

Haha, you got the better deal, thats for sure. Nice pickup.

The fish are in: 12" black, 3 silver dollars, 2 large bala sharks, a common pleco, and a raphael cat that I never see......

Yeah way under stocked so all I see is potential :headbang2

So what do you guys think about the background/aqua-scape?

I lost one of my submersible pumps yesterday but I set this baby up with 4 separate pumps, two submersibles for the sump and two for the closed loops. I love redundancy. I'm only down 25% capacity. Crossing fingers the new pump gets here by Tuesday. Then I'm going to rebuild the broken one for a backup.
