Are these red shoulder or redneck?... is there even a difference?

I’m not exactly sure. I’d have to pull out the receipt and see what they were sold to me as I’m sure someone on here can tell what they are as I’m not 100% sure

There is no difference between red neck/red shoulder/rotkeil. They are all trade names for the same fish. “Rotkeil” is German for “red wedge,” referring to the red area of the neck/shoulder of the fish.

You’ll need more clear photos of the faces. The first looks female and the second looks male but it’s hard to see them well.
