Experience and satisfaction in succeeding over come convenience on things like this. When available i always rather raise my monsters :)



To the op that egg is still pretty big and the inability to turn around will give some good egg shakes ;)

Oh yeah. He's beginning to have difficulty with turning around and the egg wiggles a little when he does. I imagine it'll get worse (better) within the next week or so

Hey Bud new to the site, I picked up the same one (bandid shark egg), I gotta tell u it's the coolest thing but waiting sucks,,,,,,, only one item of advice u need to make sure there is no air in the egg, that will suffocate him......you must squeezable the egg gently and get the air out...that may be it.....oh yea BTW it took mine 72 days to hatch in the middle of the night,,,,so far he just ate some mysis shrimp...I hope to give it squid tomorrow.... a local pet store had one in their tank once before they closed and went under i was surprised it still hatched cause they did not take care of the animals too good in their store. as soon as it hatched too they sold it even before it was feeding good. i hate stores that do that and treat the animals like their merchandise. without it feeding good i doubt the newowner had much luck with it

I really don't know why but when my guy hatched the yolk also came out as waste.....I believe instead of it being the yoke like we think of it, I think it's some sort is waste clump.....mine is still eating mysis shrimp but will not look clam or squid strips very nuts and picky my local guy says it should take about a month, I'm just afraid of might eat my cleaner and blood shrimp.... But so far they are staying away,,,,,,,
