Shark Egg: Round Two

Tonight should be the night!

He's been trying to get out all day, it's nice and dark, and we're having some pretty heavy rain and really nice thunder storms tonight.

If he doesn't make it out tonight, then helping him out tomorrow is definitely the route to go

You know you are going to have to buy/make a birthday filet for him around this time next year right? Also how is the ich treatment going?

Not one to give out medical advice on a public forum but... I'm assuming you cleaned out the wound really well with antiseptic?(isopropyl or povidone iodine)? If you have access to chlorexidine of proper strength you can irrigate with that. If you have any suspicion at all of infection go get it looked at ASAP-consider a prescription for ciproflaxin(look up the research paper online on moray eel bites and how eels mouths often carry Vibrio/Pseudomonas bacteria) and get your tetanus updated if you need to. In the meantime keep the wound open and clean and keep it away from water for at the very least a week. It looks pretty small and I know plenty of people who have forgone medical treatment on eel bites and ended up fine(and yours is restricted to a small part of the digit) but the consequences of an infected hand are not to be trifled with. (Spoken from the unhappy experience of two fairly nasty moray eel bites)

Forgot to update you guys on the shark!!!

No, he hasn't hatched... Lol

The egg was shaking violently all night, but he wasn't able to break out. This morning he just looked exhausted.
So, in about 3 hours when I get home, if he hasn't made it out, then I'll have to cut him out myself.
I think his egg may just be too tough to break or something
