how do you make the cucumber sink?

Zucchini is a better option. A fork will make these sink.

Like has been said before, this stuff is far better for your pleco, as cucumber doesn't have much nutritional value, so your L200 would prefer that. Also make sure you give it some protein too, they are pretty carnivorous.

They are carnivorous to a very minor extent, and do prefer to go after vegetation if given the choice.

Zucchini is a squash. Any basic squash will work as well.

Almost all loricariidae prefer protein over vegetation. That does not mean that it is suitable as a staple food for them, however.

He's really nice, still has lots of white on him, it's a lot even for a smaller one.
