Davo's one of the key plec experts on this forum as he stated fresh veggies are a must...I use zucccini(sp), and frozen peas...I place the peas in a bowl of semi tepid water, pop them out of the skins and drop in the tank..The zukes I stick them with a stainless fork to weigh them down..My plecs are large so I don't even bother cutting it up. Wash , rinse and in the tank it goes...If I place a zuke in the tank before I go to bed by the morning there's just remenants..GLBubbles0815;2019514; said:I've been meaning too.
