Man, I'm so sorry to hear that. :) I hope you heal up soon and get used to your new keyboard...

Thanks, it hurts like hell at the moment:(

Far from it, my friend :) I need advice and suggestions to improve!

Lou, your asking the wrong person for photography advise;)

Thank you for the email :) Ok, here we go... 4 pictures - 4 versions (the fourth one being an experiment!)...

I like the 4th experiment more than the others, makes the markings more camouflage;)

Not wanting to tell you what to do but as you've got it there, clone stamp some moss on to the top of the yellow painted rock on your final experiment, it'll give it a totally natural feel with the enhanced colours:) Or mail it back in that format and I'll do it if you want;)

Nice work Lou

Thank you, my friend :) I prefer it too :)

I've emailed you the picture... curious to see what you want to achieve :)

Can't find a decent stock photo to work with of moss, the only ones I can fine are low res, I've taken up the midtones in that layer a bit, cloned the crappy stock moss pics I could find and blended it into the midtones and dark bits of that stone and gone with it a bit. Looks ok as a picture as it matches the light effects towards the back of the photo, if you could see it close up it would look horrible but it would work as a print;)

In keeping with the randomness of this thread here are 2 more:

Borrowed m+f caravan to use as a base when we went down south last November fishing, friendly ducks:

Another shot from the zoo, no cats this time, too human. My excuse is it was taken through perspex:

That's fantastic! :) And I have no idea about how to do that!

Will you be able to teach me?

No problem, I'll write up a tutorial for you and post it here if that's ok with you? It might take me about an hour or so one handed so watch this space:)
