i never had a problem with my fire eel not eating. guess i was just lucky, or maybe the bigger species are less shy? i just throw in a frozen bloodworm cube, sit back and watch the angelfish, clownfish, balasharks and the eel tear it apart. i got the eel about three weeks ago and he's been eating since the day i put him in. did u try bloodworms?
