Stainless Steel Tanks

I think I'll go ahead with the stainless steel tank. Just got a quote for a 1000 gal tempered glass tank - Cdn $ 17,500, not practical anymore.

One of my metal suppliers is giving me 3 sheets of 11 ga 316L stainless steel sheets - 120" x 60". I'll just pay for the 2x2 type 304 stainless steel square tubing at their cost. I also have made arrangement with one of the sheet metal journeymen in our sister company.

suggestions are still welcome.
 
does anybody here have any info on Epxotherm and supertherm insulating paint? am planning to using these products to insulate the tank

personaly i would go with wood.... but make sure if u do follow threw.... post lots of pictures
 
can anybody please recommend a good source of starfire glass in Canada. looking for a 120" x 33" x 1 3/4" thick sheet. it would be 2 sheets of starfire laminated together, one sheet must be tempered.

best price i have so far is Cdn $ 6K.

I am decided in using GE1200 silicone
