Supreme SuperKing Eugene G. Danner Filter any good? I have to clean it up and try it out. I have another, but missing the motor... How much WATTS does this use? Flow Rate? anyone have info?

A buddy had one one of his tanks years ago and about all I can remember is that the thing seemed to have a very strong return flow of water.Do they still make them?
I don't think these are made any more. I found limited information online....
Where in the world did you get them from....flee market finds?
I bought a couple of really only tanks and it came with them...
Our competitor back in my LFS days sold those, they are just terrible. Besides being a shock hazard, they sound like an iron lung if the water level drops, and you have to dick around getting the intake tubes full of water to start the siphon (there should be a cap with a wooden stick that goes with them)

Back when I was just getting into saltwater I bought a Supreme Skilter -hang on power filter with built in protein skimmer.I haven't seen one of those in years....probably for good reason.
I'll post pic when I set it up...
They worked moderately well if you added a lime wood air stone and air pump but didn't skim well enough on their own. But at least they used an Aqua Clear type motor design.
