Supreme SuperKing Eugene G. Danner Filter

I had one of those back in the day it's a awsome filter
Auto correct must have changed awful to awesome, lol.

I forgot to add to my list of lousyness:

Plastic impeller shaft running in plastic bushings, just asking to go out of round.

Looks super neat but man, you can see copper winding for the electric motor through those cooling vents! Make sure that thing is grounded! Seriously I'm not an electrical engineer but that thing seems like a shock hazard, still cool looking!

I wonder when was the last time it was oiled......

Classic i had those supremes and the danner belt driven air pump

Super king and Supermaster were my first filters. I still keep the boxes, but the motors were long gone. They are outdated and replaced by much more efficient magnetic driven motor pump. The one OP shown uses about 70 watt (115V x 60A), 10 times more energy than an AC110 or a Penguin 350 with less pumping rate and the media capacity is no more than either filters. Moreover, it makes loud toilet flushing noise and a pain to start the siphon. Trash the motor and use the box to hold fish and stuff.

On mobile I couldn't see the whole title and thought it was some kinda flowerhorn lol
