Tank mates for Severum?

I'd like to know some good, colorful tank mates for Severums. So far these are my ideas:

Geophagus/Red Tapajo
Convicts
Blood Parrots
Blue Acaras
Salvini
Pearscale

Any others?

I have Honduran Red points both platinum and blue with my red spotted severum makes for a nice mix of colors and pretty low aggression. This is in my 75. If you have room Nicaraguans would look nice. I would not do salvini, or pearlscale for aggression reason. Severum are pretty low on the aggression scale.

I love the red spot severum but I never see them locally. I only see them on ebay

i have my Severums in a 135G with angelfish. Also kept one with my Oscar and tney got along well. Rainbow cichlids may work as well.

I have a geophagus altifron, electric blue acara, EBJD, & 9 assorted tetras. Everyone gets along fine. The Geo & Sev have a scuffle every now & then.

I have rainbow cichlids in with mine as well. They do well. I often forget I have them if I am not looking at my tank because they are so easy going.

Geos (except brasiliensis), guianacara, milder acara types, gold saum green terrors, angelfish, mesonauta, high bodied tetras, pink tail chalceus, lot of different plecos and catfish, arowana... some of the fish I've kept with severums. Wouldn't do salvini or pearlscale cichlids with sevs, too aggressive imo, as already mentioned.

...also various rainbowfish, pearl gouramis... probably others I'm forgetting....

I think you could add chocolates, Uaru, Krobia, A. Nassa and yes definatly any mesonauta sp.
