Most probably not.

I can see the tigers getting bullied.

i wish i still had my jardini, it was 5 years old when it died

How big was it?

It must have been large at that age.

Did you have any experiences with tankmates? Or did you keep it alone?

great i just got one from aquabid
ok don't have it yet was considering getting a couple to grow out and trade later on
i've got a much smaller jardini 8" or so in a 220 with 3 big silvers and 2 blacks
i already know i 'll need to move em around
so farr i've seen em snap a bit
think i can toss the new one in a 70 with some yellow midas i'm growing out?

Possibly...juvie jardini don't seem to be so agro...its when they get older.

hi use to have a jardini was about 22 inch or so was very nasty kept it with a sting ray but kept on bitting stingray swapped the ray for two smaller ray didnt seem to bother them as much also had large reed fish think it was some kind of birchar or something had a 4-5" silver doller but only lasted for a few days the arowana kept nipping at it. Have seen the jardini recently at aquascope in blackburn friend told me he took it there looking very fat but healthy

I have not heard many speak of 2 or more Jardini's in a tank  Like to know of any positive experiences :D If any! By the way, I have a 6" Jardini and a 6" Red Wolf together in a 125 and they seem to be ok for now. Jardini Follows him around alot tho like he is lost :nilly:

This part is totally true.

I've been trying to tell people that who say "nah my jardini is fine"

Sometime between 8 and 12 inches they'll suddenly turn and start picking off your tankmates.

it'll start with the jardini casually snapping at or nipping tankmates that get in it's way, and from there is escalates to vicious beatings, ripping fish up and killing them.

But people get fooled, mine seemed like a complete softy at 6 inches, a couple of months later and it was a mean bastard.

Thanks for this info.. i was asking this question many times and finally just posted it but you said it clear as day.. someday they will just do what comes natural and the tank mates will be no more..so i will continue to scrap the idea of adding any fish other then the plecos and syn. cat thats in there with him now.. Do you think my Adonis is in danger in the near future? Oh By the way mine is a 24 inch silver.. is there really much difference between the species of Arrow's?
