Octopus tattoos are sick. i was actually thinking of doing some type of polynesian octopus. a fellow member has one and i have to say the work was intense.

And guys im not talking down to anyone at all.. If your happy with your tattoo designs then, hey be proud of what you have. Its just a tad fustrating when tattoo-ists pass them selves off to be the greatest and there craftsmanship is sub par. Im just urging everyone to find the best tattoo artist possible and make sure you see some on skin work. I wouldnt just rush and get any old guy because when you do that, you usually end up with work that you wind up regretting.

I have an "outer space octopuss" that goes from my knee to my belly. Its attacking a pod city and in every tentacle its got a different space ship, millenium falcon, enterprise, space 1999, cptn. harlock, etc. And it hurt!

Mine was quite painful. The foot is a very tender place, especially when you're my size. I was thinking about a blue-ringed octopus somewhere.

When it comes to tattoos...you can say "Thats a crappy tat." (It might be true...the lines might not be clean, the colors not as crisp as they should be.) but everyone will think your a dip**** jackass. You gotta bite your tongue and say "Nice man."...because guess what? Its not on your body. So its not up to you to decide. I would agree that some of the tatts on here look to be in rough condition. A touch up here and there definitely wouldnt be amiss.

That aside...here is my tattoo. I have a couple others now that are being worked on. I do tribal work for people...working on my first full sleeve right now. Anyone can feel free to pm if you like...i will try to get some more of my work up on here. Thanks, Forrest

I hate to break it to you, but that shark on the left is anatomically incorrect on the top fin. It looks like its of to the left instead of being centered. The smaller sharks top fin is wrong as well, too far back. Im not sure the one eyed creature is drawn correctly as I cant tell what it is.

Yes, I was waiting for somebody to pick my sleeve apart lol.

Sharks look funny because of the perspective mostly. lol at not sure what the one eyed creature is! The Octo is deff not anatomically correct. I never stressed anything to be perfectly anatomically correct as I wanted a sort of stylized neo japanese style.

Still got a ways to go till its finished. There will be some color! Hopefully finish within the next year then start on some Traditional Japanese stomach/rib/chest panels.

Body Suit or bust!

I do gotta stop ragging on ppl tho. Us Ink Snobs can be alittle rough to the average joe who has some sup par work.
Like Moms said "if you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all"

I will always continue to rag on these meathead D-Bags who brag about how sweet there kitchen magician sleeve is and how there buddy did it for free tho! those clowns deserve it and all they do is further perpetuate the negative tattoo stereo type.

If you see a guy who has a big neck piece or his hands done and nothing else 70% of the time you know hes gonna be a loooooser lol.

Keep posting ppl love to see it all good or bad!
