But im going to have to agree with geeah. I look throught tattoo threads laughing and wonder what people were thinking. I think its crazy how people with finished crap that sat for 30 minutes getting some terrible scratch on their arm can hate on some of the nicer unfinished work. Im not a real big fan of the asian style tattoos or tribal or any of the crap you can get off a wall at any tattoo place. Real nice work takes real amounts of cash and real amounts of time. And real artists not your half rate artists that can barely trace an image that dont know how to work the skin. Iin this thread there is literally one or two that i was like wow super clean, and one was the lotus.

Yea i have to agree that is important, to find a good tattoo artist.

I'm getting work done now by Shannon Johnson out of Memphis. i had to wait 9 months just for the first appointment. there is still a lot of work to be done, i have a session this Saturday, and another in Dec.

Everyone that is considering a tattoo should, really find something that is unique/ meaningful to that person. then find a tattoo artist that can sketch it and tattoo it.

I would never get a tattoo that is already stencil, or by an artist that cant sketch a tattoo

not trying to be mean either, but some of the tats on here are pretty horrible looking. just my opinion. not all though, and i won't say which is which

if they make you happy, more power to you.

i consider myself kind of an artist, and i can draw better than a lot of the tats posted

That's actually H.R Gigers, Illuminatus 1. Obviously you are not so much of an artwork conaseiour. Seems like Either your own tattoos aren't as skillfully done or your a tattoo artist that is not as skillful.
