How long would it take a 2.5 - 3" texas cichlid to reach 3"? 4"? 5"? and at what size is it sexually mature?

And at what size would a JD that is 4" be in the time it takes for the texas to reach the above sizes?

The temperature is at a steady 81F And the tank is 90 gallon

my texas are wild caugth bt idont know if that matters, my fale went from 2.5-3 to 4 inches in about a month n she already spawn at that size.
i read before that males mature at 4-5 inches n females at 3.5, bt its just an stimate

thanks. i hope i get more people to confirm the growth rate on the texas. and no one on the JD yet? i know that growth can be slightly different depending on the fish but im looking for the average.

I've raised both for about 15 years and i have had some slow and some fast growers. But on average they both grow at the same rate until around 5-6" for me.
As for accual rates on average they go from 2.5" - 5" in about 3 months. Then the jacks slow way down. Females on the other hand will grow faster if no male is present, texas mostly on this one. Mine hit about 3.5" in the same amout of time as the males. But if they are raised together the males will grow the biggest the fastest.

my temp is 81degrees F ph 7.8 and water changes of 75% every week maybe more

I have wild caught green texas, the growth rate from 5" to 5"1/2 is 6 months, or maybe mine won't grow anymore.
I think somewhere in the forum said when texas pair up and breed, they will grow slower.
