pothos, its a plant some call it ivy. but its great for controling nitrates in tanks and adds a little green to the top of your tank if you want it.

Ahhh I see now, that's a really good idea..! I've always like the idea of having a plant hang out of the tank.. it would look super nice.. thanks again buddy for some great ideas..

I finally got my FX5 and that sucker went in tonight!! Never knew I could look at a filter that way... pics are next!!

I know it's nothing special, but I'm super excited about it..

From the second I turned it on I could see the difference, all this poop and stuff came out of know where... I love the output valves, and I think everyone in the tank does too..

Let me know if anything looks odd or not right, in regards to the filter.. it is my first time owning one of these sexy machines..

These two vids helped greatly in putting the filter together.. It came with a huge manual (and a little assembly one) but taking a look at these was much easier.. and basically says exactly what the assembly directions say to do..
