I shoot my d80 at a slight angle to avoid the reflection. However it's hard to avoid it with the built in light. I bought the nikon sb-600 from cameraaddict. com for 170.00. You won't get much glare from that since it's higher up. I want to get the attachment to use the sb-600 with a cord. You can see the results in my thread "some nice shots of my captives". I've only had the camera since wednesday so by no means am I an expert but I haven't put it down since I got it and I bought the field guide which is full of info and great tips. Youtube also has awesome info on the d80 and its possibilities.
the d80 has a commander mode so you don't need a cord to use the sb600 off camera.WildCAught;2022488; said:

Polarized filters reduce glare dramatically from what I've seen in sample pictures. I'm heading to a LCS today to get one.
i have a cheap kodak 8 mp m883. does anyone know how i can take better pics of my tank with this camera. every shot looks terrible. any help would be greatly appreciatied.
Any1 read about the Nikon D90; with its video caputure capabilities...scheduled to be released in Sept. 08...I think I want that......
