Hi guys,at the minute ive got a canon powershot sx100,10 x op zoom and 8 mp,im looking at getting a nikon d90 with a 18 -105 lense for £729 + a macro lense for £500 what i want to know is ,is it worth the extra over the d 80etc

that is a great camera good price too. But let me warn you before you buy the macro lens for 500 pounds make sure u know wat you are buyin. A macro lens means you need to be VERY close to ur subject, in many cases as close as a few centimeters. You might be better off buying a macro lens cap/filter. they will cost you about 30 dollars on wolfcamera.com and work very well. It will magnify your lens by 10x so u can make very nice macro shots with it. I recently got one and it works very well..

not sure about that camera mate. there are a few sites around that review digital camera's and give peoples personal reviews on them. - www.dpreview.com is a great site with loads of info

Picked this little beauty up yesterday,just got to learn how to use it now! Lol!
So far its pretty easy to use and the pics are WOW!
This is my first dslr but ive always had cameras and used to have an 35mm slr obviously guite a while ago.
Hopefully you guys will help if i need it.
