Well, I potentially am going to have the hugest post of lost fish ever on this thread.

The central power has gone out here at my restaurant, which is located on a university campus. It has been out for roughly 1/2 hour and I am really wondering if it is gonna be out for a very long time. My laptop has roughly 45 minutes of back up battery till it calfs. This does not look like a good nite.

I have a 230g with about 2000.00 worth of f1 and wild caught fronts, and some parachromis.

I have a 25g with a female salvini and her brood.

I have a 140g with a loiselle and a jag and their hybrids.

I have a 300g with a whole bunch of very nice adult full size fish like zebra tilapia, red belly tilapia, quite a few full grown featherfin cats about 6 variety. And a bunch of others.

I have my 150g with my grow out colony of earth eaters, eyebiters and a few other fish.

I have my 90 g with my grow out fronts, and my wild caught jurapari eartheaters

I have my 100g brackish tank with my rescued guppies and my breeding bumblebee gobies.

Then I have my back drop feeder tank with minnows and goldfish.

I really really really really hope that I am not reporting back later that I have a bunch of dead fish. I only have 3 tanks set up at home my florida softshell turtle, my west african lungfish tank and my 75g sw. So I truly have no way of moving any of these fish to other tanks. Man I wish I had my hatchery set up or my fish room in my basement, but, business issues prevented me from doing that so far.

I will definitely take pictures of my losses should I have any.

I understand what you guys are tryin to do here, but I don't see how anyone can bear to take pictures of their dead pets.

The way I see it; we should remember them in life, not in death.

I might be adding my RTC to this list.

Got home tonight and found him laying on the floor. He was pretty dry, stuck to the floor and all the water had dried up, so I'm guessing he was out for awhile.

As I was trying to get him off the floor, he gasped, so I put him back in the tank. He had a bit of life for awhile, but now he's not doing too much. I think he's a goner.

What really stinks, his pond is pretty much done and he would have been moving into it in a week or so.

I can't say I have ever thought of a fish as a pet in the same sense of a dog being a pet. Sure I take care of my fish and treat them well but to say there is any love there would be a stretch. lol

I see it as more of a loss of money.

Electricity went out while I was at work, came home and found Puff Daddy dead, floating upside down like a balloon. Out of my 3 tanks, he was the only one to go.

Im getting him mounted, in my fridge at the moment.:cry::cry:

He was my first MBU, now I need to find another one. Tank is empty without him.........
