Found this little guy after moving a tank the other day,I though my ebjd ate him,guess not.

I dont photograph dead ones normally but I had this Pakistani loach for 8 yrs and grew waay bigger than it says in most off the info I found on them!

what a shame, fat little guy too. I have one thats similar, and one that isn't growing to the same size (even though both were the same size when i got them 4-5 yrs ago.

These are the steps i followed.

1) cut head off
2) dip in boiling water for a while to soften flesh and scales
3) use tweezers to pull/peel/tear muscle and tissue off
4) swish in the head in boiling water to remove hanging tissue and soften more
5) repeat step 3
6) do this until you are satisfied that you have skull only.

**If its a smaller fish you have to be careful, the skull is more fragile than when its alive**
