The Freshwater Ladyfish and Tarpon! (Need Info)

He never said it was OK by him. I gather that he's trying to learn what the best conditions are in which to keep his fish.

I known Kraig for a long time and would never stunt a fish or shorten it's life.he's just wanting some info guys.

I am pretty sure that putting theses fish into freshwater stunts their growth which is fine, adleast to me.

i personally have a tank with 4 13 inch tarpon which i sucessfully converted from brackish to fresh water and they have lived happily in a 240 gallon tank for 2 years now.its not hard just do it gradually over 2-3 days. i have also had sucess with mangrove snapper, jack crevelle, schoolmaster snapper, redfish, and snook

Tarpon and Ladyfish will go in brackish.Tarpon is $50 to FFWCC if you catch one and bring it into you boat. I seriously doubt a Ladyfish will survive in captivity. Never seen one in an aquarium.

Well I fish less then 15 mins away from my house no need for a boat so I'm good on that.
