I just thought it was cool, and fitting to the thread. It isn't that often you get to see the adult male and his offspring, unless you breed.

have you looked at zebrapleco.com, you'll find a few of those pics on there. think theyve got 41 registered breeders

Yeah I've been on there. I know there are more and more Zebra breeders popping up every day.

you wonder why they are still so expensive. some guy has like 30 odd

They are still expensive because there isn't enough breeding going on still. Sooner or later someone will have a batch of fry, and no one will buy them because the price is too high, and someone else gave them a better deal, then pricewars begin.

I like the gold nugget too.

for me they are an addiction and i want to collect them all or see them all right now i have had over 100 different ones and im particular to a couple of mine but i have found within the same species they have different personalities

Plecos are very diverse in their behavior. There are actually over 600 Loracariids, I don't know the actual count, but it is well over 600.

That would be a lot of gold nuggets! Someone would have to really like GNs!
