Gannady seems to be calling out Miguel Cotto and Andre Ward's name was mentioned,what do you think of either of those match ups?
 
I love Cotto, but he might be a little undersized against GGG. A matchup with Ward would be great.
 
Yeah,the HBO announce team was saying that Ward is about the only fellow who is willing to fight Triple G..I was a little surprised to see that HBO will be airing Bernard Hopkins next fight.He is a part of the Gden Boy promotion company who I thought was at odds with HBO?

he lost the fight on the scale already. when a fighter is heavy close to weigh ins, he is desperately trying to drain a lot of weight and dehydrate in a very short amount of time or last minute. which depletes his energy, not to mention the mental aspect of it.

a lot of fighters say that they love what they do, the thing they hate most is the weight cut
 
I'm not sure what's happening with HBO/Golden Boy. I'm looking forward to Hopkins vs Kovalev. Kovalev is coming in as a slight favorite.
 
Based on Kovalev's dismantling of his last opponent I can see why.
 
Well,Bernard Hopkins finally got his butt whooped last night....I should have made a few bets at work as I didn't see him at fifty years old having any chance of beating Kovolev...he was almost knocked out.
 
Bernard Hopkins is one of my favorite fighter's , followed him from the first time he appeared on Tuesday NightFights , I would hhope Bernard would consider retirement.
 
I agree but he was actually looking past Kovalev and eyeing a fight with Genady Golovkin in the future...It turns out Hopkins should have worked things out with Adonis Stephenson for a unification match.All water under the bridge now Bernard should spend his days in the offices of Golden Boy and stay out of the ring.
 
I don't know why bhop is still fighting. dude is old as hell now. he needs to just chill and enjoy his legacy

I hated bhop way back when I didn't know who was this chump who ko'd my boy Trinidad.

turns out he's one of the greats, lol
