I don't think it's an ego thing. although even if it is, it's fair
he's had things like 90-10 purse splits that would be considered fair.
if he's the one drawing all the money, he should be taking the bigger piece of the pie. if you're a fighter consistently doing roughly 1 mil ppv buys, your opponent is only doing like 200k buys when they fight, no way would you split a 50-50 cut with that guy if you fight him
mayweather deserves the bigger cut. this wasn't the case 5 years ago but it is now

I disagree with the concept because he can't fight himself. It's yet another way that boxing is corrupt

I get that that's the way it is but that doesn't make it fair. 2 people step into a ring for the same exact event, one shouldn't walk away with significantly less money. There should be a purse for the winner and a split of the rest. Life isn't fair though

I don't get how it's not fair.
borg, all they can do is go off the numbers they've been doing recently. pac's draw has significantly dropped. and the two losses hurts his power to push for more money. 60/40 is all anyone can ask. mayweather would be a saint and deserve a statue of himself made if he allowed a 50/50 split.
