Top fishing spots in CT

There are many ponds and lakes that I fish. Bantam I go to a lot for pike did alright this year the biggest was 33 inches thru the ice 2/20/08. The Farmington River I do extremely well on. Have never been skunked the best time to go for me is dead summer. Also do good thru the ice there caught about 20 browns and a rainbow this year and over 1000 perch jigging. Not being directly stocked thats pretty good. East Twin is a good lake for trout but living in Plainville and driving all the way up there which is almost 2 hours when I can drive 8 minutes and catch the same quality fish I would rather go the Farmington. West Hill is an alright lake caught many limits out of there. Here are some pictures:

this is a sculpin, it died like most of the fish you catch while jigging from an expanding airbladder

nice work guys wish i hit those spots before i moved i have a secret pond over in new york just across state lines all 5lb+ bass but its a secret place!
lil baby squirrel the best is if you sneak up on them in the snow and grab them by the tail done once succesfully NO BS for real!

yea we just put a little garbage can with a stick and the popcorn underneath it and pulled the stick out when it went under
ill try and get some more pics of stripers and bass later i have some good ones lurking on another comp
 
ahahaha lol i cant beleive the garbage can with a stick actually worked kudos to you man. Unfortunatley most of my pics were disposable due to my in the water type of nature or they were taken out of state... only plus side out here in st.louis is MONSTER catfish + gar
 
yea im on the hunt for some monster cats this year well see what it wil have in store
