If you ever think you have more than you have room for, feel free to send some more my way..:D

The cold never sets in where I live. ;)
must be nice. the electric bill here this winter is going to be a fortune heating all these babies and along with the regular tanks i have up and running.

That sucks. Don't need heaters in any of my tanks down here.
Down side, though, is the hurricane's (loss of power, property damage and flooding) and not being able to have a basement.

I'd love to see what they look like.

bad news. i now think im going to loose the father redsnok of the babies.
i think he has swim bladder disease. hes always at the top and his fin and a portion of his back are drying out from constantly being out of the water. i dont think hes gonna make it much longer.

Thats no good man... How long has it been up there? Maybe has some air trapped in it? Try a gentle squeeze?

im not sure if thats what it is or not now. he was at the top constantly yesterday and this morning with his fin and about a cm of his back sticking out the top of the water. maybe he was stressed. i took him out of the tank and put him in my 125 with much smaller cichlids and he seems to be swimming around more but still going to the top ocasionally. ill just have to wait and see how he acts over the next couple days. ill let you know how he does. everything was fine in the 180 until the jag and festae paired up.

yes the babies are much bigger now. i think they will be showing some color here in the next couple weeks. the larger ones are almost 2 inches.
the update on the male red snook is he died so all i have left of the parents are the babies now. i still have a 75 gallon and 30 gallon plum full of them. doing water changes every other day and feeding them 3 times a day. ill get some pics up within the next couple days.
