I saw Peppermint and The Predator this weekend.
Peppermint was actually pretty good. Lots of action, interesting storyline. Nothing spectacular but worth while on the big screen.
The Predator was pretty much the same. What you would expect, action, and more action. Storyline was somewhat original. Something new was the addition of comedy which I enjoyed actually.
Overall, good weekend in movies for me.

I heard there was a bit of comedy in Predator, I just have a hard time seeing how that works lol. I'm torn on that movie, I love the Predator series of movies but for some reason the trailer just looks kind'a blah to me. I think that may be one I wait till it comes out on dvd to see most likely.
Wrapped up the second season of Ozark and looking forward to the next one....very good show.
Yes! Glad you enjoy it, definitely my favorite show on right now, alongside Peaky Blinders. Thought season 2 ended great, no real cliff hanger, but leaves you wanting to see whats going to happen.
I was glad I saw it in theaters. The comedy was kinda strange, they also implement a famous line from the first one which I kinda liked. The movie isnt meant to be ground breaking. It almost makes fun of itself at times. Its enjoyable.
I am going to go and see it later today.I read that they wanted to bring in Arnold as Dutch fir a small part but he balked at the idea due to the part being so small.
The director,Shane Black was involved in the original film as Rick Hawkins.
