I kind'a doubt that is the case. I can't see how that would cause it to not do well. America going to the moon first is simple history not hollywood writing.

Yea, but they are trying to show that landing on the moon was a mankind thing and not an American thing.

Stuff like that just I find ridiculous. And I'm not getting on you Warborg so don't think I'm giving you a hard time or anything, you didn't make the movie lol I just find the way they try to paint everything with a grey color and PC and "equal" everything these days is just so lame.

Kennedy's speech about going to the moon and us landing on the moon is one of (if not THE) greatest accomplishments ever made by human kind. Showing the iconic flag planted on the moon signifies our accomplishment.

Just another reason I hate hollywood and all those fake ass hypocrites out there.
