A few Netflix recommendations...
Bird Box....Saundra Bullock stars a single mom trying to keep her child safe as an evil force transforms most of society into zombie like savages. This was pretty good and also starred John Malcovich.
Operation Red Sea....Chinese soldiers takes on taliban hostge takers.Really nicely done with top notch special effects.
Humanity Bureau....Nicolas Cage as an agent hunting down people the government deems to be of little or no value to society.
I saw Bird Box, liked it, will check out the other two, I love Cage.
I gotta make time to watch Game of Thrones. I always have liked that genre but have never seen an episode because I don't have HBO. I did however get seasons 1-5 of it on dvd for Christmas so have to start watching it very soon.
I got the dvds as well! Excited to jump on the GoT train.

Hope everyone had a great Holiday. I was away from computer so didnt check here much. I watched a few movies finally for some reviews.
Bird Box: Saw
@krichardson mentioned this earlier. But I also watched it and agree that it was a pretty good film. Kept me interested and really liked how the story was told, jumps from past to present to fill in time/plot gaps. Free on Netflix as well. 7/10.
Operation Finale: This one is about a group of soldiers/people who go to kidnap a high ranking officer in Hitler's army. It takes place after the fall of Nazi Germany, and of the five or so leaders of the Final Solution, this guy is the only one left. It was interesting, but got a little slow in the middle. 6.3/10.
The Mule: Clint Eastwood is back again in The Mule, tells the story of an aging gardener who loses his job to the internet. To make money he starts running mysterious packages for some mysterious people. Its pretty obvious these runs contain illegal goods but he doesn't seem to find out right away. Again, this one is pretty slow, story line is kind of boring. Stars Clint Eastwood, Bradley Cooper and Laurence Fishborne however, big cast, not so big of excitement. 6.5/10.
The Favorite: This film took the cake for me. Follows the true story of Queen Anne (not familiar with the true story, look it up if desire) in a comical and dark way. I was sort of lost for words after watching this. It is very good, I loved the dark humor, the theater laughed out loud at parts. Its definitely not for everyone, but if you have time and are willing to take a risk, I would go see it! 8.4/10.
Happy movie watching!!
