Upcoming Movies and TV shows

Sci-fi is hit or miss for me. Some I like, others I can't get into. I'm actually not real big on Sci-fi but I did like Stargate. I think the desert and Egyptian stuff kind'a put a spin on it which I found interesting.

I hear ya on the cold movie theaters, they are the same way around here. I usually leave a flannel shirt on when there and I'm a very warm nature'd person so you know its cold when I do that.

My sentiments exactly on the Egyptian theme of the Stargate movie.....we were the last out of the theater room and the employees were already starting to clean up a few rows behind us.When I walked past one of them I couldn't help but ask him if the place had a heating system at all.
 
I guess it's understandable the reason why they keep it colder. If the theater is packed then that's a lot of body heat going off. With me being such an introvert, and normally avoiding the plague that is people, I usually go at times when there is just me and maybe four or five other people in there :)
 
Same here.I also prefer to go during the less busy times of the day and never on weekends.
 
I also like to go when there isn't a crowd. Last time I went on Friday night was the first planet of the apes reboot

Hey,hey Atlantis was very good, I liked the change to Wraiths.
 
I never really got into the Atlantis one. I use to watch the older TV version with Richard Dean Anderson. Bought the first few season of that one on dvd last year and started re-watching it but can't remember where I left off now. The joys of getting older, walk away from something for a week and when it go back to it it's like it's brand new again lol:duh:

I like the Blackhole one
 
Saw Ready player one. The movie kind of felt pointless. Maybe it's more for younger people(can't believe I said that). Plus, was alot of retro(80's; the Shinning)

LOL I dunno how old you are War, but get use to it, it only gets worse ;) I kind'a felt the same way about the previews of that movie. Just from the previews alone I could tell it didn't really interest me much. Way too much CGI and gimmicky for my taste.
 
It depends on the quality of cgi. Avengers has been good, black panther was terrible with cgi, & venom was pushing it
