After looking at some of the reviews it's quite clear that this film is not rated highly at all. Most of the scores (out of 10) were 1!!!! That bad.
If it comes up on one of my viewing platforms I think i'll be giving it a wide berth.

I'll give it a try if it does,never been one to give much credence to movie reviewers.
There's a new animated film on Netflix called "Sea Beasts". Just watched it with my boy. Highly enjoyable. I haven't seen a decent animated film since "Ice age" and "Despicable me".
And also on Netflix I watched a film called "Wrong turn" last night. It's one of those lost in the middle of nowhere type movies where the locals aren't, let's say, the particularly welcoming type! It doesn't end well for many of them! I wasn't expecting a great deal from it but it wasn't a bad film in the end.

I'm not sure how many here are old enough to remember the tv sitcom Night Court but remake of the show is set to aire on NBC.
Watched the first episode last night. I'm on the fence at the moment. Another couple of episodes should sway me one way or the other.
I'm going to have to watch it again as I made the fatal mistake of watching it while I was lying on the couch.I dozed off at one point and by the time I came to it was over!
The first episode jumped about 6 decades, starting with the 60's warning by that boffin on that talk show type thing. Then a bit of the back story of the main guy regarding his daughters death in 2003, and then onto 2023 present day. It ends with the two main characters entering the dead zone, which, I'm guessing is where the real fun and games will start.
So, from what I can make out so far the writers are wasting no time getting right into the nitty gritty. I'm expecting great things from episode 2. However, I'm trying to keep my expectations low because of the chance it could be a damp squib, I hope not. This is the type of show, if it's done right, that could go on for years, season after season, even rivalling "The walking Dead". It has that similar vibe to it.
Yeah, the amount of times I've done that. The thing is though, is it us who are genuinely dog tired, or is it the shows we're watching that are rubbish which send us to sleep? Lol.
