This is what makes it all possible. I made a pump station using a tank, sump pump, and a float switch. I am going to use a different tank or I am going to custom build one. That will happen later. The function of the pump station is to do nothing until the drip system fills the tank to a preset level. Then the pump will turn on, pumping the water up to the attic and to the sewer. The check valve at the pump is to stop any water in the hose from draining back to the pump station.

For tank cleaning, just run your gravel vac to the pump station and it will take care of the water for you.

Maybe I should have explained the pump station a little better. The black ball thing on the cord is the float switch. What it does is monitor the water level and turn the pump on and off. How it works is it has a switch inside that is activated by the angle that the housing is floating at. When the tank is empty, the housing is horizontal as in the picture. At this point, the pump is off. When the tank fills up, the housing will float and the cord will pull one side down. When the angle of the housing gets large enough the switch will close, turning on the pump sending the water to the sewer. When the pump empties the tank, the switch will turn off the pump until the tank fills again.

I have to admit, at first I was wondering why you went up rather than down. Then I said to myself, DUH! he is in FL, no basement, no crawl space. Very nice plan & execution.

I have been thinking of how to do a minimal destruction system, and it looks like you put the finishing touches on everyones plans.

I think I will need to add a second drain, or a 'Y' in a PVC drain rather than flex. I want to be able to vac straight into a drain as well as have the overflow from the drip system.

I bow to your superior ability to not destroy property that may or may not be owned by you, for reasons on not wanting to lessen the resale value, or security deposit, as it were.

I used the same plate to get power behind my gas stove, and to get power to a wall with none, so I could put a tank on it, but I NEVER thought of using one to hide my water lines.

Thanks for sharing .... :headbang2
