I have seen DMD123 DMD123 's fish room and the Dewalt racks look good.

This is two kits. One had metal grid and the other wood shelves. In between racks hold breeder sized tanks. The top has 75’s but had to be modded to work. All tanks have 3/4” plywood underneath them. The center is a 36”, 30 gallon but I could have done a 40 breeder.
Im glad I left 10 between top of bottom and beam otherwise getting ac110 out woul be impossible

My final pic with seating

Hopefully this give you some ideas

Here was one of my challenges. To properly support the top tank I needed to make filler strips

These fillers were custom done with a planer to fit. The end caps were removed also. This allowed the plywood to lay flat.

You can see how tank spans both of the tops on the uprights

How sturdy would you say your dewalt is?

A close up to show how the 65B fits under the 75. If I had done 40’s I could have raised the lower beams for better height for siphon but it works gravity fed fine. The space underneath is used for storage.

Honestly I wish it were beefier feeling but its rated for the load.
Would you feel safe if someone of average weight were to fall against it?

My grandkids come over and lean on the lower 65b looking at the fish. I think it would be fine since weight holds it in place. I dont know about “fall against it” but leaning on has been fine for me.

My concrete was not level sine it was sloped for drainage. I did have to shim it on one side about 5/16” and I used aluminum bar stock for that.

I do wish I left more room behind tank. The AC 110 has about 3/4” of clearance from back wall and original idea was for a power strip the entire length. This picture

Once the 65B went in I could not even use the strip, it was in the way of the Aquaclear. I ended up removing it from the project. If I gave myself another 2” it probably would have worked
