Yet another consideration, besides floor not being level... wall also not straight. This means the gap behind is not uniform. It’s totally fine looking but on the left side the rach is a bit further from wall.

lol, making me talk about the project has made me remember a lot of the challenges.

I was going to do wood 2x4’s originally but fell in love with the dewalt racks so thats the route I went.

Forgot about this. There are some plastic covers for the uprights. Mine were damaged in the box. I had to request new ones form Dewalt

I zip tied these extra power strip to inside for additional outlets

Storage for python hoses


Storage container under racks are kind that roll under beds. I use the longer one for gravel tubes and long handle stuff and shorter ones just have heavy stuff like gravel and bio media.

I really, really, really hope that powerbar has GFCI protection, either built-in or in the receptacle that feeds it.

DMD123 How are the stands holding up ? I have similar set up bit havent added any tanks bigger then some 20g tall for my snail breeding.

If you were to consider the DIY route you don't need 2×6 for 75 gallons. This is my 75g/40B double stand. All 2x4 bones underneath.
