Weld-on #40 and #42

Hello! This thread is very helpful!! How many pints of 40 would I need to do all 8 corners of a tank with the dimensions below? The tank is about 20 years old and hasn’t been used in about 6 years.

L 8’
W 24”
H 24”
1/2” acrylic

2 pints would be more than enough, also that's a 240, 300 is 30 inches high.

Newbie here... I have a 75 gallon glass aquarium I've bought and built a stand for. Turns out I'm much better at building stands than I am working with acrylic. Found this thread looking for how to fix seams in leaking acrylic aquariums. Here's my stand, A water bridge I'm attempting to build for my son's two guppy tanks and a little 15 gallon tank that is going to have water pumped in from my 75 gallon and waterfall back in. In there will live some algae, copepods and maybe a mangrove. Anyway thank you for the all of the information, my 40 should arrive today and hopefully save my test builds ?

Looks awesome! Welcome to the MFK!

I like your ideas about the bridge and the "offshoot" tank. I have thoughts about such a tank combination myself too.

Usually fixing acrylic tanks is trivial, unless the structural integrity of the tank is violated.

Thank you! It's been fun learning to work with the Weld on 4 and 16 and now 40. Figured I'd start small and play around with it plus my Mandarin needs pods so there's that. Maybe I can stop spending 50 bucks a month to feed the little guy (or girl)
