From reading this thread, I have a question - are you wanting information about the wanton filling and what application are you using the wanton in?
Wow,I feel honored to have you come on and offer your help.I have some recipes saved and while I don't recall off the applications in them but I was just planning to follow those instructions when I'm ready to try it...of course I would be appreciative of anything that you would offer.

Because Popss and I have so many kids, I usually make fried wantons. I seldom use a recipe because I know what my family likes. The filling has ground pork, green onion, napa cabbage, bean sprouts, fresh garlic, salt, sesame oil, and soy sauce. Sometimes I add a bit of cilantro. I put a teaspoon full onto the wanton wrapper, fold it over and seal the edges. Deep fry in med hot oil until med brown and crispy OR put in a steamer and steam for 20 minutes.
You could add these to a chicken/ginger broth if you are looking to make wanton soup. Garnish with cilantro or spinach.

LMAO can I please get a pick of the garbage plate? have no ideal what that is.

We made ours at home. We make Mac salad, home fries, and baked beans, put a couple off cheeseburgers on top. Then we make our copycat version of the meat hot sauce and throw that on top of it all. Smother it all with ketchup and red hot.

Nickntahoes was the original garbage plate....we just make ours at home.

Interesting, though I have had many opportunities to do so I have never tried fried wontons...only in a soup.
DM that macaroni pie looks delish and I can see the Sylvia's hot sauce in the background.Do you add a little to the mac like I do?

Nah man I'm not big on hot sauce may use a little Texas pete but I usually don't but now that you bring it up I will try. This is from dinner at my gf's house and they're big on hot sauce.
