Yes, in Thailand, AT are not called 'tigers', in the local vernacular, but what equates to 'striped perch'.I've suspected something along the lines that the silver "American Tigers" are the least favored dats by collectors in Asia and as such were probably the first to be readily offered up to be shipped here many years ago.
But they would usually not be exported, but be sold at the markets as food.
AT are possibly my favourite dats.
