Appears to be a longnose gar.
With wolves it would be either a hit or miss depending on their personal behaviour. Black wolves are on the more chill side compared to Mala or Aimara so less risk. I keep my black wolf with gars as well with no issue. Keep an eye out.Thanks... Do you think it will be okay with a 24-in fire eel and a 10-in black wolfish? I think it will be dicey with the wolf fish but if there are any issues I'll take the gar out
Wolf is the real question fire eel won't mess with it and he shouldn't mess with it, but wolves are a toss up

No such thing as a silver gar. Looks like a longnose gar. It’s silvery, whitish, probably because it came from a white tank so it’s whitewashed and it’s stressed out from the move. Are there silver gars? Got it today and it's got a silver color. I thought it was just the guy's picture quality. Or is this potentially sick?
