Here's a suggestion - instead of using gender related pronouns - why not stick to using their user names. That way you won't have worry about ticking someone off, in case that person is a bit sensitive on the subject.

sorry to step into the middle of this so late in the game, but im just added my 2 brown banded bamboo sharks to my 400gal tank and have only added three tangs for clean up reasons. does any one have a good idea of any rays i could add to this tank? thanks

i myself have a blue spotted lagoon ray going in with a bamboo shark
hopefully they arrive today, tomorrow or monday grrrrr
gotta wait and see what bamboo specie it is yet tho
they should be alright together they join my lionish en nemo
