Oh, and I'm hoping to rescue a 27'' RTC from an lfs...poor guy's livin' in a 210, and just a lil' while ago, a 90 gal in which he couldn't turn around in. Just gotta get my monster tank built though, i don't think he would fare well in a 180 gal pond which is my biggest tank...

Common sense says fish food. I'm sure you could have easily saved him before he went down. I had that happen about 4 times in a few months every time I tried to keep two together. I finally realized it wasnt happening. Typical RTC.......... If he cant eat it today he'll just wait until tomorrow Bottom line is he WILL eat it.
