I mailed my congressman once in my district about legalizing other animals but if enough people got together on it I believe they would listen at least.

Utah is also illegal per Odball's list on his sticky. This sucks because I was going to have them delivered to Utah, drive over and get them, because they are illegal here. Ha!!

not sure if they're illegal in NY, as custom aquatics is there. it could be more a region of the city, which sounds really dumb and highly unlikely.

it's local to state level.. NYC are illegal to sell rays in any LFSs but once out of city boro areas it's legal..

Nope, private ownership in FL is not allowed at all. It's reserved for public aquariums/zoos and similar facilities with permits. And even then, permits are hard to get.
