These little white spots have slowly increased in number on my driftwood and a few on the glass. Does anyone know what they are and if I need to get rid of them? Some sort of snail maybe

Besides the Delhezi what else is in the aquarium?
Buettikoferi
Albino senegal
2 ropefish
Fat sleeper goby
Half banded spiny eel
3 African butterflys
5 chirax gibbosus
1 gold mystery snail
1 zebra nerite snail
Could the snails be the culprit? I bought 1 of each thinking they weren’t asexual and wouldn’t reproduce. Also the dots don’t move, and if they do it’s a very little amount

Tbh I've never kept Nerite snails just seen images of their eggs. The won't hatch in freshwater so maybe using a gravel vac during a wc will remove them.
Just took a look at some other forums that had the exact same spots on their driftwood and it looks like you’re right. Nerite eggs and they won’t hatch, just have to scrape them off with a brush and I’ll have to find the snail to get it out. Thank you!!

You might want to think twice about getting rid of the Nerite. They’re the best at doing what snails are for and the cost to keep can be as low as running a magnet scraper once every few days.
