Would you euthanize this fish?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
yes, I'm going to hold off as long as I can. he seems bugged by his face, but not bugged enough to be euthanized just yet. I feel sad for him, but I'm not sure if there's much more I can do. I'm sure the day will come when I'll realize he's at that point. until then, he's stuck with me!

My suggestion is to keep it in a tank by itself to help ward off any possible infections reaching tankmates if you plan on keeping it around. I'd hate for it to spread due to a fish you know you will have to euthanize.

wouldnt it have already spread by now since it's been acting like this for months? I have a spare tank I've used for aggressive fish I plan to rehome, injured fish, grow out, quaruntine, etc. but unfortunately it's now unexpectedly occupied with two dolphin fish for quarantine/grow out right now and I definitely cannot add the ebjd with them as they are insanely sensitive to medications and disease. I saw something really screwed up at work with a fish's belly exploding with tapeworms everywhere and now I'm very paranoid and itchy with everything. I'm not necessarily concerned because my voice of reason believes it's a neurological thing, but my hypochondriac side is freaking out.

I think this is a non-pathogenic issue and not somthing meds will help.
