Great to hear ?

Great thread. When I think back on all the species of Killifish I bred and reared in the 80's & 90's it makes me wish I had stayed in the hobby. The African Cichlid breeding I don't miss LOL. Getting back into the hobby after all these years brings back a lot of memories. Still waiting for my tank to come in. Bred Bettas before too; would love to get my hands on some B. macrostoma.
Thank you

Spotted Pim
Pimelodus maculatus

Size: 7-9”
pH: 6.5-7.5
Tank size: 75G/1 small group
Country of origin: Brazil, Argentina
Diet: Most live, frozen, and prepared foods of an appropriate size will suffice
Temperament: Peaceful, though predatory and robust. Best kept with larger tankmates.
Temperature: 68-75° F

Description

A very rare species of the genus Pimelodus, best known from the common pictus catfish, Pimelodus pictus. These fish are often very expensive, though not difficult to maintain. This post is partially inspired by M MultipleTankSyndrome , who has been pitching Pimelodus for quite some time now.

Thanks xenacanth9! Love the amount of spots on this type of pictus, it really reminds me of my favorite (Colombian small-spotted) pictus catfish morph.
